Dear Members,
As member of the Pakistan Business Council for six years, I consider it a tremendous honor to serve as your President for the 2010-2012 term. I will rely on my experience as an active member of the PBC to help carry our Association forward through these difficult times.
In the past, we have helped bring to light differences in industry's role as an economic engine, and the constrictive regulatory environment in which we must operate – that which largely dictates our ability to conduct business in the UAE & Pakistan. The confluence of recent events provides such an opportunity for us. We must, therefore, continue the efforts that have been initiated this past year.
This is a time for all our members to contribute, especially those who have the experience as well as those new members who have the enthusiasm. We must remain united to survive and prosper. The size and strength of our Association is one of the keys to our future successful endeavors.
I thank you for this opportunity and look forward to everyone's participation. Yours Truly, Tahir H. Schon President
